  • We help law firms support working fathers at the point it matters most: performance and home life.

High performing lawyers face competing pressures - demanding careers, young families, financial responsibility, ageing parents, and personal strain. We deliver intelligent, practical frameworks that help fathers stay grounded, resilient, and present - improving wellbeing, retention, and sustainable performance.

  • HFD is led by Nabeel Osman, an experienced lawyer and young father of two. His career has spanned chambers, a US law firm and the legal arm of a Big Four consultancy.

Following the birth of his first child in 2023, Nabeel took shared parental leave. During this period he was navigating a series of life changing events and a simple truth was revealed: high performing dads often shoulder immense professional and personal pressure, with little structured support or guidance.

Grounded in lived experience and professional insight, HFD exists to help ambitious fathers reflect, connect, and grow - with purpose and presence.

  • We focus on ambitious, career focused men working in law who are experiencing life changing moments. This is a group often left unsupported when personal and professional worlds collide. The emotional, mental, and relational cost is high and many struggle in silence.

In high pressure environments, especially law, men expect themselves to be:

    • Financially secure

    • Emotionally stable

    • Present partners

    • Hands-on parents

    • Supportive to ageing parents

      — all while performing at the top of their game.

We welcome the voices of mothers, partners, and colleagues who want to better understand and support the dads in their lives. Real progress happens when everyone around us is equipped to listen, empathise, and contribute meaningfully. This isn’t a space for exclusion - it’s a space for clarity, connection, and shared understanding.

  • Our work isn’t therapy - it is strategic, guided support, focused on:

    • Retaining and elevating senior talent by equipping them to manage personal change

    • Recalibrating ambition and parental responsibility in healthy balance

    • Building sustainable habits of leadership, at home and at work

    • Creating peer-led spaces where vulnerability meets discipline

    • Preventing burnout, talent loss, relationship erosion, and quiet emotional collapse

We provide a structured, forward-looking framework to help high performing fathers sustain success.

  • With reforms to UK paternity policy on the horizon, shared parental leave on the rise, and growing awareness around elder care and family responsibility, the role of fathers - at home and in the workplace - is being redefined.

Firms that want to retain and empower senior talent can’t afford to ignore this shift. Supporting fathers isn’t a welfare issue - it’s a leadership, wellbeing, and performance imperative.

HFD exists to help organisations get ahead of that curve through recalibrating environments to enable ambitious men to lead, parent, and perform sustainably.
